Returns & Refund Policy

1. Overview

We are committed to fair, transparent returns in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and industry standards.

2. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Customers may return eligible products within 14 days from the date of delivery if the goods were not inspected prior to purchase and are found to be unsatisfactory.

This guarantee applies only to standard, non-custom products.

3. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return or refund:

  • The product must be unused, as-new, and free from stains, damage, or soiling
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging or secure alternative packaging
  • The item must be ready for collection within three (3) days after the 14-day return window expires

Returns not meeting these conditions may be declined.

4. Non-Refundable Charges & Items

  • Delivery and transport fees are non-refundable
  • Custom-made or special-order items are not eligible for refunds
  • Products returned in unsanitary or damaged condition will not qualify

5. Packaging Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring returned goods are adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Please note:
Our third-party couriers do not provide packaging services and may refuse collection if items are improperly packaged.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed only after goods are received and inspected by Bamboo Mattresses
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (bank account or card)
  • Refund processing may take up to 14 working days from receipt of returned goods

7. Defective Goods (CPA Rights)

If goods are found to be defective, unsafe, or not fit for purpose, customers may return them within six (6) months of delivery.

In such cases, Bamboo Mattresses may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the item
  • Replace the item
  • Issue a refund

8. Important Notice

Failure to comply with the return timelines, packaging requirements, or condition standards may result in the return being rejected.
